Hello guys...
I'm using an old computer for FreeNAS system.
Install verything Ok, but cannot set the raid 10 on my system
I have 4 (3tb) HDD but when I select ZFS and RaidZ it drop the capacity to 2.7tb when it should twice capacity... am I wrong...???
Can you please tell what's the option I need to choose to set the raid 10 or at least raid 1...??
Thanks
Victor

Not sure, but I think that 4x3T in RAIDZ should be ~9T usable.

To get something similar to RAID10, you need to use mirrors, pick 2 drives at a time, configure them as a mirror, and put them in the same pool (this part is important or you'll end up with a bunch of pools, each with their own pair of disks.

Make sure your *old computer* is 64bit or your ZFS won't work so well.

Thanks Louis
This is the configuration that I have now.
I did what you suggested... 2 hdd on each volume (2.7tb usable) but don't know how to put them in the same pool....
I'll appreciate a little help on this.
Thanks again

Just use the same pool-name when you add the second pair disks... ;-)
