Sure, I will do that. Today, I updated two of my eight drives from SC60 to SC61. Currently, I am running a scrub. If this works out, I will update another set of two tomorrow, and so on.

Last week, I updated all my drives to the new Seagate firmware. Updating went without any issues, I performed scrubs afterwards and no data was lost.
Since updating the drives, I have seen absolutely no sign of the issue. I guess that the error may still show, since it has only been a few days since updating, but I am very hopeful and it looks promising. There are also no longer any CAM status errors in dmesg.
