Hello Team,
I am new to the FreeNAS world and have had few major roadblocks, before I could get it all moving. At one point, I had to dump everything and start from scratch.
But I am no expert on FreeNAS and have hit a roadblock with Plex. Have installed the plugin fine, Plex is running, I can ping it, but within Plex, I get PlexMediaServer unavailable error.
The box is:
I followed this YouTube video(clickable link) each step of the way to setup Plex. I have tried this in one of my previous installs and it worked fine, so I know it works. But for some strange reason, it does not work this time round.
When I installed the plugin here are the messages I got on Shell:
GEOM_MIRROR: Device mirror/swap0 launched (2/2).
GEOM_ELI: Device mirror/swap0.eli created.
GEOM_ELI: Encryption: AES-XTS 128
GEOM_ELI: Crypto: software
I have tried to stop the plugin and start again, but the same issue. However one thing, that I notice is strange this time is whenever I stop the plugin and start again on the shell I get this:
epair0a: Ethernet address: 02:8b:10:00:04:0a
epair0b: Ethernet address: 02:c8:ed:00:05:0b
and I believe it is related to the issue I am getting.
I am not sure what other info I need to share here, please let me know. Thank you in advance for your time, it is much appreciated.

- HP 8100 Elite SFF
- i7-2.80
- 16 GB RAM
- 2 X 2 TB - Mirrored HDD
- Both Plex and FreeNAS are getting IPs via DHCP.
