Plex server and media in same volume or not?

I have FreeNAS 11.2 currently with 1 volume consisting of 3 WD Red disks, RAIDZ1, ~4Tb free space. This volume has all my media files. Is it OK to install PLEX Server in that volume, or would it be better to have it in a separate volume, e.g. a small, faster SSD in stripe? If this is the case, how do I choose where to install PLEX? I was playing with the plugin but couldn't see an option to select where the jail is going to be created.
It's probably obvious by now, but I should say that I have little to no knowledge of how jails work.

Thanks!

If you only have one pool it will go into that pool. In my opinion its perfectly ok for a home user to have everything in one pool. Many of us, me included, use a separate pool to house jails and such which are on SSDs. You can go either route, just make sure you have a recursive snapshot being taken frequently.

With everything in one pool its easier to hose things up imo. So I'd always have a daily snapshot to roll to if things get out of hand.
