Some one started a hi-jack of my resource discusion of using local disks for backups. (Oh wait, was that ME?)

So, for those interested, At least one serious, but under staffed, attempt to port OpenZFS to MS-Windows has been started. Maybe even 2... though I am only cursory interested.

Ideally, the project should get an entry on the OpenZFS organization's web page, just like FreeBSD and ZFS on Linux have. Mostly so people interested could follow. This is the site I mean;
OpenZFS Wiki

Edit: Added OpenZFS Wiki link.
Edit: OpenZFS has added the OpenZFS on Windows project link, just like I wanted.

It made a pretty big splash at last year's OpenZFS developer conference. Jörgen Lundman was talking about his efforts porting ZFS to OS X, then he asked the question: "What about Windows?" and he was dead serious.
Video of the presentation (juicy bits for non-OS X people start at 23:04): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_8jQnJf418

The code is hosted at https://github.com/openzfsonwindows/ZFSin

It probably needs traction, in users and developers and users turned developers.
