I've done a dumb thing. I've...
1. Installed 32-bit freenas on a server with 2G of RAM
2. Upgraded to 8G of RAM
3. Puzzled over why it's only reporting 4G of RAM
4. Realised that I should be running 64-bit
The server's a HP N40L with four 2T drives in it running the OS from a USB flash drive.
I can see from the sqlite config backup that it contains very specific information about the drives installed, so my plan is to...
1. Swap to a fresh USB flash drive with 64-bit FreeNAS installed
2. Restore the backup config
Could it really be that simple?
Thanks in advance,
James
