nfs: server x.x.x. not responding, still trying

hello ,
im using a 11.2 FreeNAS with nfs shares , i mounted the shares on a linux server , the problem is i keep having this message in dmesg : nfs: server x.x.x. not responding, still trying .
and every time this message appears the mount points hang ,
is there anything i can do to solve this problem ?

Please provide more info as per the forum rules. At the very least, we need to know the FreeNAS version and the full output of ifconfig.
