I have FreeNAS installed as a virtual machine and was using a UFS volume to store some data.
I then decided create a new FreeNAS VM with a ZFS volume on a separate physical disk. Both Virtual disks are mounted in FreeNAS and I can see them but I cant see the old UFS volume. When I try to import it using "auto import volume" neither disks show up. And when I try to import using the name of the volume it says "The selected disks were not verified for this import rules"
Gparted shows the disk has 2 partitions, SDC1 and SDC2. SDC2 is the one that contains my data and has the label of FS1 which I gave it but the file system is "unknown"
Does anybody have any ideas how I can get this volume mounted in FreeNAS or anything else? many thanks! Ad
