I am running 11.1-U6 and have the nagios4 package installed via
I have ran
pkg
and the version is 4.4.1, which apparently has a bug and I've been told I should upgrade to 4.4.2. If I try pkg upgrade
it says all is up to date, but if I check the distinfo file in the ports folder, it shows 4.4.2:Code:
root@monitor:/usr/ports/net-mgmt/nagios4 # pkg upgrade Updating FreeBSD repository catalogue... FreeBSD repository is up to date. All repositories are up to date. Checking for upgrades (10 candidates): 100% Processing candidates (10 candidates): 100% Checking integrity... done (0 conflicting) Your packages are up to date. root@monitor:/usr/ports/net-mgmt/nagios4 # pkg info nagios4 | grep Version Version : 4.4.1,1 root@monitor:/usr/ports/net-mgmt/nagios4 # cat distinfo TIMESTAMP = 1535968827 SHA256 (nagios-4.4.2.tar.gz) = 3418923f326aa86dc8c84cfd0df788fa495a90d772f8071acf40fdbef0736853 SIZE (nagios-4.4.2.tar.gz) = 11301454
I have ran
portsnap fetch
and portsnap update
, does this mean I should uninstall the pkg version and build from ports to get this version or is there some way to get pkg
to use the latest available?
