I'm a newbie to the FreeNAS forums. I've been going through many hardware configurations for my NAS and finally came up with this list. I'm not sure which kind of mini SAS breakout cables to get for this motherboard. I just wanted to get you guys' opinions before I commit to this configuration. Any help is highly appreciated :)

What will you be doing with the server?

The server will be setup with FreeNAS with ZFS in RaidZ1.

All my movies, tv shows, and documents would go on there. It would use Plex streaming and there would be constant writes and reads to the disks due to downloading and seeding of torrents.

With 24TB (8TB * 3) in ZFS, would 16GB suffice?
