Multipaths behavior

Hi all, I'm using EMC KTN-STL3 15 bay enclosures which are connected up via 2 SAS links and the work great. Under Linux if you use an EMC SATA to SAS interposer the SATA disk shows up with 2 paths as it should. Under TrueNAS they do not mulipath. Is this a shortcoming / incompatibility of FreeBSD or is this feature disabled under TrueNAS core?

What is gmultipath list telling you?

Although you would probably know if it was being used since your disks would be something like disk1, disk2 instead of da0, da1...

Thanks for your reply. gmultipath list only shows the SAS disks. sas2ircu 1 display shows the SATA disk twice.

Code:

In my experience it has always intervened automatically to do things I didn't want... I guess you might look into using gmultipath to set it up the way you want...
