My thread title may be improper, but was all I could surmise.
The "MasqueradeAddress" field under the FTP config in 8.0.2-RELEASE is set in Django to only allow integer values. This is a huge limiting factor for DynamicDNS users behind a NAT who's IP changes frequently.
We need to be able to specify an ascii value here (ftp.dyndns.org) so that the dns is resolved everytime.
ProFTPd supports this (http://www.proftpd.org/localsite/Userguide/linked/x862.html)
However when specifying this line directly in proftpd.conf, it of course gets overwritten by django when you enable ProFTPd via the GUI.
Let me know if I can assist further with remedying this. I cannot use FTP until it is because the WAN IP of one of my sites changes several times a day.
