I finally got a jail working with OpenVPN (client), Transmission, and a socks proxy (3proxy).
I had to solve some reliability problems with a custom service/script, but I wonder if there is a better way. Basically, the Transmission and 3proxy configurations depend on the VPN endpoint IP address and this changes from time to time when the VPN needs to be started or restarted.
I invite comments here or in a repo I created for this stuff.
