Hi, I have just installed a jail on my 11.3 system to run TVHeadend.
I used "pkg install tvheadend" to install the app and had the TVHeadend web interface up and running pretty quickly.
I started going through the setup wizard to setup the initial configuration, but it was not seeing my HDHomerun Quattro tuner that sits on the same sub-net.
I am not sure whether this is a problem with TVHeadend or with the IOCage jail settings, so I am posting in both forums.
I used the standard jail setting and turned on DHCP networking. I have not tweaked any of the advanced settings.
I assume TVHeadend does some scan of the local network to find any tuner devices. Is there anything set in a standard jail which would stop TVHeadend from doing this?
Has anyone else managed to install TVHeadend in an IOCage jail successfully with a HDHomerun tuner
Any help or guidance would be appreciated
