I've just spotted a mini-ITX variation: X11SRi-iF.

The reason I came across it was that I was looking for an X11SCL-iF replacement. Because X11SCL seems not to support bifurcation...

This motherboard severely limits your expansion ability compared to other ATX motherboards. With only one DIMM per channel, you’re limited on memory capacity also. If you really need an ITX board AND you’re willing to sacrifice less SATA ports, only one PCIe slot, half the memory capacity etc etc, then sure go ahead. However, in my opinion, for the extra 3” wide and 5.3”, an ATX board makes a whole lot more sense.

At least X11SRi-iF
  • supports more ram than Supermicro Atom c3xxx and xeon d-15xx mini itx boards
  • has more PCI-E lanes in the PCI-E slot than Supermicro atom c3xxx mini itx boards
  • is comparable on SATA ports with supermicro M11SDV mini itx boards
And putting a xeon w-2123 into it gives more horsepower than xeon D-15xx, D-21xx or atom c3xxx board for the same price...

TDP is larger though... Nor have I paid attention to SPF+...
