Hi everyone, I'm looking to build a system using this motherboard: ASUS P11C-I Mini ITX Server Motherboard LGA 1151 Intel C242
(I plan to use a spare Node 304 case, and I'm not a heavy user so looking to keep costs low; mainly using my NAS for archival so speed is not the highest priority. That said, I want to do things correctly and use EE memory, and if I can do some light photo/video editing directly that'd be a bonus).
My question is about the C242 chipset - is it like other Intel chipsets where it's not backwards compatible with pre-Coffee Lake CPUs? (I'm hoping to use some like a Skylake/Kaby Lake i3)
Thanks in advance!
