I have a Ubuntu 18.04 VM which has been wonderful.
It has 2GB assigned and 1 core.

I shut it down, switched to 3GB, 2 Cores and the whole filesystem went kaput.

Recoered from snapshot, did some testing, I can recreate this, consistently.
Anyone know what this would be?

What version of FreeNAS are you on? Your signature suggests 11.2-RC1.

@diskdiddler Looks like your VM disk is using AHCI, switch to Virtio.

I never had an issue before - anyhow I updated to 11.3-U3-2.0 (Whatever the latest of the latest is) and it does seem ok now!
