Got a free dyndns account. I have put xxx.dyndns-web.com, username, password, update interval 600 secs.
It worked at first (first hour I think) After that inadyn can´t update ip adres anymore, it says in the console:

an example:

Sep 29 17:08:44 freenas INADYN[2380]: Sun Sep 29 17:08:44 2013: E:INADYN: Failed getting AF_INET ip from checkip.dyndns.org/ in check_my_ip_address...
Sep 29 17:08:44 freenas INADYN[2380]: Sun Sep 29 17:08:44 2013: E:INADYN: Failed getting AF_INET ip from checkip.dyndns.org/ in check_my_ip_address...

Sep 29 17:08:44 freenas INADYN[2380]: Sun Sep 29 17:08:44 2013: W:DYNDNS: Failed checking current ip...
Sep 29 17:08:44 freenas INADYN[2380]: Sun Sep 29 17:08:44 2013: W:DYNDNS: Error 'RC_IP_SEND_ERROR' (0x14) when talking to IP server
Sep 29 17:08:44 freenas INADYN[2380]: Sun Sep 29 17:08:44 2013: W:'RC_IP_SEND_ERROR' (0x14) updating the IPs. (it 2)

Looking on the internet, I can´t find any reason why.
The router works ok. And FREENAS too. Except it won´t update the ip anymore.

Not really. Using DynDNS adds alot of extra things that may or may not be the fault of FreeNAS. I'm using DynDNS now, but with my pfsense box as my router, and its worked flawlessly since day one.

Edited post. Was thinking in a different way..

Finally I found it. It was not the problem of FreeNAS. It was my crappy modem/router from my ISP. It didn´t hold my NAT rules. Crappy software in a crappy cheap router which you get for free from your ISP in Spain. Thanks anyway.
