when i imported a ntfs disk i chose the pool as the destination instead of the windows dataset that I was sharing. Now I can see the files in the pool but I'm unable to move them or delete them and I can't edit permissions for the directory above the dataset which is where the files are currently located.

How do I remove the files or move them now that they have already been imported? or am i stuck with the files where they are?

From the shell, can you please run ls -l /mnt/<name of your pool>/<name of imported file>? It could be as simple as they just were imported with the wrong permission bits.

I actually started using the shell to delete the files and I'm importing them into the appropriate folder.

I didn't realize I could use the shell from the web interface.

thanks
