Import Users Through LDAP

Hey all,

I'm new to Freenas, but is it possible to import users into Freenas over an LDAP connection to an Azure AD? I can make a connection to the Azure AD via telnet using the public IP of the Azure AD and secure LDAP port. I have also filled in all the appropriate LDAP settings as well. However, I cannot access any of the users from the Azure AD through Freenas. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

That is not an option with the Azure AD unfortunately..

Possibly in FreeNAS 11.3 you could monkey together some auxiliary parameters for nss-pam-ldapd (LDAP directory service) and connect to the LDAP component of Azure AD, but it won't be sufficient to provide auth for SMB shares.
