The job I had was called "Sr. Systems Analyst", but I was basically the system administrator that was managing three air-gap networks (including Cisco switches) with servers and both Windows and Linux workstations. It was a contract job for the US Navy and the contract lapsed due to a screw-up in the contracting office at the facility.

For anyone that might have occasion to look at this later... I accepted a new position with General Dynamics (GDIT)...

This is what they had to say:
We are very excited to extend an offer of employment to you for the Systems Administrator Senior position
I was pretty happy to accept, especially after sitting home for seven weeks.

Congratulations Chris.

You've always been so helpful, polite and generous with your time on these forums, so it's nice to see that you've landed a decent job.

Congratulations! Being out of work is stressful.
Do you know what sorts of systems you will be administering?
