IIRC, you need to do OLDPool/OLDPool@snapshot and equivalent on the receiving side (the first is the pool, the second is the root dataset).

Also, the snapshot needs to be recursive.

I did a recursive snapshot and SSH'd into the system using Putty and ran the command with the -v parameter. It's transferring files as we speak and appears to be working for now. I will check it later to see how it turns out but right now I have to go get some breakfast.......

So far so good. The new pool is up and all the data appears to be intact.

I have also created a pool with my SSD drive for my jails. At this time, all I have done is create the pool and now need some information on the best walk thru to install Plex and SABZBD so there are no permission issues once I go to use it.

Will the datasets imported with the zfs send/rec effect this in anyway?
