Hi
I had to replace something with a ram and after I replaced, suddenly one of my disks was having problems !!
Can a Ram replacement do something like this?
I connected the drive to another computer (windows) and checked with crystaldiskinfo and everything was fine. I have had these drives for less than a year (WD Rad 3TB)
I have these errors:
Code:
# zpool status
  pool: NAS
 state: DEGRADED
status: One or more devices has experienced an unrecoverable error. An
attempt was made to correct the error. Applications are unaffected.
action: Determine if the device needs to be replaced, and clear the errors
using 'zpool clear' or replace the device with 'zpool replace'.

And before that I had a problem that he even got the drive out of Pool but Narrally just have problems with drives that fail in encrypted pool so he didn't return it Finally I removed the pool from FreeNAS and did import it then the drive came back but with the errors shown above.
Is this a cable problem? Or the drive? I do not know what to do!!! help!

A bad or loose cable can definitely do this. I'd shut the computer down and replace the cable immediately to see what happens.

Okay I'll try!
But currently scrub running. Wait for it to end or just try to replace the cable?

I'd quit the scrub.

I also replaced a cable and its location on the motherboard
And I think it's sorted out !! Hope it stays that way
I will keep the system on for an hour to see that everything is fine and tomorrow I will continue the tests. (1am here)
