Hi from Norway!

I'm new to the forum. Been lurking around for a bit now. I am currently building my first proper NAS. It all started with my old computer with an asus z77 motherboard, i5 3570 and 16 gigs of non ECC RAM. But now I've started all over with a more suitable setup.
Supermicro X9SCM-f, Xeon 1230, 16 gigs of DDR3 ECC RAM and soon 6 x 3TB WD Reds in RAIDz2, some SSD's and a DELL Perc 200 which I am going to flash to IT mode.

Fun learning new stuff from reading on this forum! A lot of knowledge here!

Welcome @Pizza! It's clear you've been lurking. You've got your hardware spec in your signature block! That's a positive first step. It will also be handy if you also include your FreeNAS version and pool configuration with your spec.
