GUI "contrast effects"

Hello, I am not sure if this is the right place but it is a suggestion. I have just tried one of the releases 9.2.1.9 x86 and I like it but there is one thing and that is, when I click anything on the left pane the dialogue appears for it and everything around it or most of the page goes dark then white after I finished with it.

White -> Dark -> White -> Dark-> White

It seems like a growing trend and with it repeatedly doing that when I am trying to do things it really hurts my eyes and I have to use element hiders to stop that. I can't find where to turn it off so I used adblock to stop the elements from darkening the page.

It stays white now.

Can you please consider a setting to turn it off in your next release?

I use pfsense a lot and if they did this I would also make the same suggestion.

I do like how you can drag the dialogues.

9.2.1.9 is around four and a half years old by now. It has been unsupported for ages and the old GUI is on its last legs even in the latest release, 11.2.

The behavior of the new GUI is fundamentally different, doing away with the overlay boxes for options.
