Hello everyone, i have a weird question to ask: for some reason, i can access FreeNas's UI via every single jail that has NGINX. (i.e. Nextcloud and Reverse Proxy jails).

What i get after i boot up is this:

"The web user interface is at:

http://192.168.1.110:1010 (nextcloud Jail)

http://192.168.1.150 (reverse proxy)

http://192.168.1.150:1010 (reverse proxy)"

I'm scratching my head right now cause it never happened and if i go to system -> General -> WebGUI ipv4 Adress, the only IPs showing are, in fact, those mentioned before. It's as if freenas doesen't get its opwn IP.

Any idea? Thank you very much.

Are you using vnet interfaces?

well that should not be happening then as each jail would get its own IP and MAC all routed through the bridge interface and out your physical interface. Something's not right.

EDIT: And different ports??? try killing the proxy instances and test nextcloud

The webUI should not be listening on anything other than 80 and 443. Something is jacked.

Did that, now it simply says: "The web interface could not be accessed. Please check network configuration"

Yeah so the proxies are doing something strange. You may need to reset your network setting from the console.

Ok, little update. I'm not sure what was messing up with the UI. I solved the issue this way: I reset the network on both igb0 and igb1. Disabled boot for both my proxy and nextcloud jails. Restarted the machine and set up a new static IP for the webUI. Rebooted again to check everything was working. Once i could access the UI i restarted manually first nextcloud and then my proxy jail to check if the issue was coming up again. Once i establishged that it was solved i enabled both jails at boot again and restarted one last time. Now everything seem to be fine and the jail's IPs don't show up anymore as possibles WebUI IPs.
