I'm also starting to wonder if my problem has got something to do with the /data/pwenc_secret file?
I can't remember if my pools were encrypted or not.
Anyway, does restoring the configuration also restore the pwenc_secret file? I do see that this file exists in the savedconfig.tar file, do I need to manually apply it somewhere on my filesystem?
