I cannot figure out why our FreeNas Server is cutting in and out.

Dell R720
256GB Ram
10GB NIC

4x (4 x 8TB UltraStar Z2) = Pool 1
4x (4 x 10TB UltraStar Z2) = Pool 2

Linux server backs up data from Pool 1 to Pool 2. When backing up whenever we hit over 2.2 gbps on the network nic SNMP monitoring seems to cut in and out. I also noticed on the VM servers connected to those pools say CIFS VFS Reconnecting.

When monitoring the port the FreeNAS is connected too it shows

So you're using, let me guess, RAIDZ?

For heavy duty use, you generally need mirrors. RAIDZ is optimized towards sequential archival workloads, and if you press it with things like VM traffic and backups, especially IOPS-heavy stuff, it falls apart.
