FreeNas 8.0.4 Plugins ?

Ok I have seen videos where torrent was already an option you could start under services and and then also post about a plugin area where you could add it .
On the version I am running 8.0.4 there is neither ... a service already in place or a plugins dir to add plugins .

Am I missing something here ???

You're missing something! ;)

Plugins are not a feature until version 8.2, there is a "Multimedia" version of 8.0.4 which has Transmission, MiniDLNA, and Firefly, with access only from the command line.

I have the same problem. There is no service called plugins.
FreeNAS-8.0.4-RELEASE-p3-x64 (11703)
OS Version FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE-p9

Do I need to rebuild again?

It has already been said plugins is a feature of FreeNAS 8.2

I know it is confusing, but try to stay with us here. You have FreeNAS version and FreeBSD version. Your FreeNAS version is 8.0.4, which is running on FreeBSD 8.2. You need FreeNAS version 8.2.
