Hi ,

Myself Lokesh Kamath.

After updating freenas shared folder is not working in Ubuntu 16.04 and lower versions. In windows 7 & Windows 10 it is working.

Error Message is mentioned below.
Oops Something went wrong. Unhandled error message: Failed to mount windows share. Connection timed out.

Through google search added 4 lines in /usr/local/etc/samba4.conf file.
Lines are:
client min protocol = SMB2
client max protocol = SMB3
server min protocol = SMB2
server max protocol = SMB3

Please help me to solve this issue.

Thanks & Regards
Lokesh Kamath

Try checking the box "enable SMB1 support" under Services->SMB.

Thank you. SMB is Checked, there is noting called SMB1. Please find the attachment for your reference.

Click the wrench next to "SMB". This brings up the SMB configuration form, which will allow you to check the box.

Thank you so much.

It is working now.
