Dear all,
Not sure if I am posting in a the right area of the forum. So apologies...
I using SMB share on Freenas via windows.
I am looking for some type of tool to use in windows that will help me understand how much folders are taking up of the overall share. Currently I do a 'right click'in windows and it takes for ever.
What's the best approach for this?

WinDirStat is one option. Keep in mind it'll take time; more time if your metadata doesn't fit into ARC.

Although not in Windows, you could also run "du -h -d1" in the root of the shared folder in the FreeNAS web shell.
