Experience with ebay HDD

Has anyone had an experience using a "white lable" HDD like this?
im guessing pre-owned means its been used and refurbished means its been opened and fixed?

Out of six "white label" disks I bought a couple of years ago, I've had eight failures. Not doing that again.

Do you by chance know the manufacture they were, runtime,how long did they last any smart data out of box?
