Hello gents,

I have a dedicated server with EXSi 6.7 installed on it.
This server is provided by OVH company.

This server's IP is 167.114.157.xx
This server's gateway is 167.114.157.254

I have three IP failover, with a range from 149.yy.125.100 to 102.
First IP failover is dedicated to a Ubuntu server.
Everything is nice on it, I have no problem for accessing WAN, IN and OUT.

Second IP failover 149.yy.125.101 is dedicated to FreeNas, last version, 11.2-U6.
I associated the MAC address of the VM to this IP.
I am struggling since three days to give a valid IP that wold make it accessible to the WAN.

No issue during installation, everything's fine.
But when it comes to configure the network, it is a mess.

Here is what I did at console Menu after install:

Step 1) Configure Network interface.
DHCP => No
I put at IPV4 address 149.yy.125.101 (IP Failover)

Step 4) Configure default route
I put here as
IPv4 address 167.114.157.254, which is the IP of the Gateway.

Step 5 Configure Static Routes
Destination network : 167.114.157.xx (server's IP)
Gateway : 167.114.157.254 (server's Gateway)
Description : empty

This have no result...
I am unable to ping TO and FROM the machine, and I have no access to the WAN.
Strangely, if I put the server's IP adress for the default route instead of the gateway for the default route (Step 4), my Ubuntu server which is on the same subnet is able to ping the FreeNas machine.
But the latter has no IN/OUT WAN access...

I tried the methods of those two posts (which mainly consist of writing the configuration into files), without any result :
https://www.ixsystems.com/community/threads/freenas-networking-no-internet-access.7124/
https://www.ixsystems.com/community/threads/routing-table-with-esxi-and-ip-failover.18227/

Shall I do something special ? Where am I wrong ?
Yet, having no result, I reset the FreeNas VM to defaults.
Thank you.
