just a preface: I am not using zfs at all, I have direct disk access (as in, we have a storage array box with a server attached running freenas, with the disks shared out to iscsi targets, one "disk" is a RAID 10 and the other is a RAID 6. they are configured via hardware and attached via a LSI logic card.
Whenever we try to copy or run a VM via iscsi (jumbo frames enabled on the switch and both sides) the performance is terrible. It's roughly 5 mb/sec
I have heard there are issues with ESXI and freenas, are there any tweaks or fixes that could resolve this?
