Hi!

I have a Dell T310 server with latest FreeNAS, and looking to update the BIOS from 1.12 to 1.14.
I find the BIOS files, but cant find any guide on how to update it without Windows (double click exe file and go)

Any guides or tips on how to get this working?

Make a DOS-bootable USB stick and put the .exe file on it:

Use Rufus to make a freedos bootable stick, copy your bios file to it also - boot the machine with it, at the DOS prompt type your .exe file name and hit <Enter>.

Did not work, it booted and where I type it says "C:\>" , here I type in "bios.exe", thats what I named the bios file.
And I get this: "Bad command or filename - "bios.exe".

I downloaded this file "PET310-011400C.exe" from Dells page, it is a BIOS exe file

Okey it succeeded, I ran "dir *.exe" and then found the exe file with a new name for some reason. It was called "biosex~1" in DOS. Now it is flashing :)

Thank you for fast response!
