Deleting DataSets, Starting over

After the update to 11.3 my Data scrambled all over the place I can access most of it. (no I did not have any Snapshots).. I have tried to organize most of it but im at a loss I really did a good job of Fubaring it.. Im just hopping I can get some tip on how to delete and start over..

OK, so how much of that do you need to keep? and what structure were you hoping to have?

I could always back the data on to an external drive till this is sorted but not sure how the TimeMachine back up would handle that, or the iocage. The structure would be Candace as the pool and then the necessary datasets..

what would the best way to handle this?

I'm not clear on what got scrambled exactly, so it's hard to determine if there's an easy path to putting it back.

Taking a backup, re-creating the desired structure and putting the data back in. As long as the sparsebundle files are in the same spot relative to the timemachine share you create (with the same name and permissions/settings), that should be fine.
