Crash logs

Does FreeNAS store any crash logs? We had a storage outage this morning and the event logs indicated that the watchdog timer reset the box, indicating something in FreeNAS causing the kernel to hang and not reset the timer. This happened once before last August and after doing some work trying to find root cause, we decided to wait and see if it happened again. Now that it has and we know it wasn't a one-time issue, how can we figure out what caused it?
