Hi all,
I'm migrating my old install to a new system (new hardware and disks).
I've installed Freenas on my new system and it works fine.
When I try to import configuration from my old system int the GUI, I loose network connectivity on reboot.
On the console, I tried reseting network settings (option 1) without success. I always have the "The web interface could not be accessed. Please check network configuration".
When I try an ifconfig, my network status is "Active" and seems normal but no IP. (My DHCP server is working fine, got not request, and led in the interface is ON and blinking).
Any idea where could be the problem? Do I have to manually edit the config archive and change settings before importing?
Your help is welcome!

Are the network interface types different? If they were (just for example) bce0, bce1 in the old box, and are igb0, igb1 in the new box then it won't fully translate. You may have to assign the network configuration from scratch from the console.

No config file, just from console say no to delete and no to reset on option 1 networking, and from there it should prompt you for parameters for ipv4 and ipv6.

Not entirely intuitive UX-wise.
