This is a guide regarding how to compile, install and configure a FreeNAS jail to run the excellent AirDC++ client.

AirDC++ is a client for the DC++ protocol.

I was struggeling so long to run any dc client at freenas. My last solution was, to run a clean linux because I didn't managed to install dc at freenas. Finally, with your manual, I was able to run it. Even if the automated startup doesn't work, I'm more than happy!

Regarding the automated startup, it should work. Maybe you could debug the script you are using and post any error messages, so we could try to fix it.
