cant install OpenVPN in qbittorrent plugin

I'm setting up a new torrent platform and have installed qbittorrent from the plugin lists.
When I attempt to install OpenVPN or run pkg update no information is returned or and the cache is not updated. It appears that I'm not able to updated the package registry from a plugin. Is this the case and I need to create a manual qbittorrent jail or can I create an OpenVPN jail and route all traffic through that jail?

Plugins pull from a very small tested repository (iocage-plugins) not the mail fill repository. Plugins are designed to be basically run as is. Install and use not install and modify.

If you want OpenVPN in the same jail as qbittorrent you need to roll your own jail (not difficult). Did that on mine to get Flexget and qbittorrent in the same jail.

For future reference within your jail edit /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/FreeBSD.conf to

FreeBSD: { enabled: yes }

Then proceed as usual

pkg update
pkg install openvpn
