As the title states, in the console can I reset to the default settings without loosing any data?

I am having nothing but issues trying to get to the FreeNAS from any system except for one. No matter what password I put in it will not log onto the FreeNAS server and I know what the dang password is.

Driving me nuts LOL

Are you trying to login to the web GUI or trying to connect via SMB?

Actually both/either.

I am wondering if I reset to the default settings through the console on the FreeNAS system will I loose all of my data on the NAS drives?

Resetting to default should not affect your data pool, unless you're using GELI encryption. If you are, save a recovery key.
