Hello,
New to freenas, so due to my faulty mail configuration I ran into bug #75532. I just want to bring to light a couple of additional side effects I experienced;
1 - the web ui became unresponsive
2 - both /var/log/maillog (70G+ size) and /var/log/messages (also 70G+ size) were rapidly filling with
... freenas /find_alias_for_smtplib.py[...]: Found a recursive dependency for root
I reviewed the discussion in the bug report but didn't see these listed.
There appears to be a bz2 nightly log rotation however is the endless loop of syslog writes (possible disk filling?) intentional? Was there some other configuration I needed?
Regards,
Dave
