Just looking for ideas on what might be causing my system to crash. All lights and power operational but nothing on monitor and cant see files from other computers on network. System is on a gigabyte b350mb, ryzen 1600, 32gb gskill with 6x6tb deskstar hds and using a 250gb m.2 drive for boot disk. System feeds 12 seperate network connections. Usually takes 2 hard restarts for system to load after crash. No errors just get lost signal on monitor when system crashes. Thanks for any ideas. Currently running version 11.2, ran on 11.1 with same crash symptoms.

I don't have any advice as I haven't run a Ryzen system. There are a bunch of threads here about Ryzen compatibility you can check out. My only guess is you either have a HW problem or a HW compatibility problem.

e.g. I do find it odd that it takes 2 hard restarts for system to load after crash.

Thanks. Checked out other Ryzen issues and tried to fix them but nothing has work. Its not a consistant crash either, may operate for a few days or a month no indication or consistancy to why it crashes.

Ugh. maybe memory issues?

As AMD share continues to grow I suspect support of their platforms will get more support cycles. (Somewhat depends on the $ they spend on enabling specific OSes.) The existing and upcoming EPYC Rome parts are a good value in a compute server. May be overkill for a storage appliance depending on use case.
