Allow myself to introduce myself

Hi all.

New to the forum, been lurking over for a while. Not yet built my FreeNAS box yet, still going though the documentation, hardware specs and playing with it in VMware. Moving over from a Ubuntu 14 file server. Reason for the switch is to be able to do more with the hardware.

I also started with an Ubuntu server many years ago. Played around with ESXi and Proxmox for a short while before settling on FreeNAS. As long as you choose decent and well supported hardware, you should have a good experience with FreeNAS.
