Hi guys,

After installing FreeNAS 8.0.4 p3 (64bits) on a virtual machine (512Mb RAM / 4GB Storage) using VirtualBox 4.1.12 on the Ubuntu 12.04, the CLI keeps giving me 0.0.0.0 to use the WebGUI. When I put this on my host PC, it doesn't work.
I've already chosen "Bridge" in my VirtualBox's Network Configuration, and tried choosing some other boards.

Looks like a DHCP error or something like this.

Where am I missing? Can it be my router's configuration?

Thank you and sorry about my poor english.

Are you saying that your virtual machine for FreeNAS has 512MB of ram allocated?

It's possible that DHCP is not offering an IP fast enough, and that the console is displaying the IP address before DHCP offers it, resulting in 0.0.0.0. But shortly thereafter you may actually have an IP address. You might check your router's DHCP table to see if an IP address has been assigned. Or go in to the shell and type ifconfig and see if the IP is showing up.

Well,
I tried to do this at work (with this laptop), and, again, 0.0.0.0.
That said, now I don't think that the problem is with my router...

What can I do?
