Access remote free/TrueNAS

How do i connect my local TC to a FreeNAS I have at a remote location without using the cloud?

Hi @hescominsoon ! If your TC instance can connect with the remote NAS, it should be as simple as adding a "NEW SYSTEM" from the dash. Provide the NAS address, a nickname, and NAS credentials in the NEW SYSTEM form.

well considering that i never have my nas directly exposed...trying to see what ports tc uses....i am going to assume i could forward 443...was seeing if there's any guidance from IX on this one..i know they want us to use their cloud...

hrmm my firewall won't allow me to use fqdn for the source...I know TrueNAS has wireguard built in..maybe I'll go hat route once TN gets released..or replace the firewall at the remote location...been needing an excuse to go up there anyway..:)
