11.2 Beta VM on esxi 6.5 won't boot after installation

Won't boot after installation. Stops at a DB> prompt. 11.1 installation + upgrade worked. Any one else having similar issue?

Duplicated the issue today again. Noticed that when the HBA was added to the VM, it won even boot the installation. Removed the HBA and installed ok. After installation noticed an update available; updated; added the HBA and the VM continues working.

Esxi no update; why hba would cause that? 11.1 installed fine, upgrade to 11.2 fine.
