I have FreeNAS-11.3-U4.1 installed on a Dell R640 with 2x Intel 10g SPF+ adapters. This was working until I configured an IP address on the second adapter, ix1. Then both interfaces stopped working. Even removing the address and downing one interface manually, neither interface will pass traffic. The switch config has not changed. The switch shows link light and UP/UP. The interface on the R640 shows link light and FreeNAS shows it up. It cannot reach anything else on the network. The switch doesn't even see it in the arp cache. Any clues where I am not looking the correct this? I am quite knowledgeable in Linux but haven't used BSD much in several years.

post the network configurations of the nics..ip, gateway, subnet..etc etc etc.
