Correct Firmware for driver version

I'm running a few FreeNAS servers with a 9305-24i HBA. I'm wondering how I can find out what firmware version is expected by my current driver version? I believe all the cards shipped with firmware version 9 and have not been changed.

I've read that FreeNAS provides a warning that indicates the correct firmware to use. However, I have not seen this warning. Possibly because I work on the NAS remotely and I'm never physically at the terminal.

Can someone help point me in the right direct to ensure I have the correct firmware version on the cards?

The warning was removed some time ago as it confused users and couldn't cover every possible HBA scenario.

Is that the latest available version for that card?

Thanks for the update on that.

There are newer firmware versions available. I'll run a backup of that box and try updating the firmware.

The 9305-24i HBA seems to be having SMART errors with some 8TB Seagate SkyHawk drives we installed in that NAS. No problems with the Iron Wolf drives in that NAS, just the SkyHawks. Hopefully firmware update will resolve.

If it doesn't, it might be worth reporting at bugs.ixystems.com.
