Hey was wondering if you guys know whats wrong...
So i just recently finished setting up my NAS with FreeNAS 7.8191 (the most recent stable version i found) . Components are as followed:
Asus Crosshair
AMD Athlon X2 4050e 2.1GHz
4 x 1GB Corsair Dominator DDR2 1066
3 x 3TB Seagate Barracuda XT (removed from Seagate GoFlex Desk 3TB externals)
3 x 500GB forgot..... LOL
XFX 8800GT 512MB G92
So as everything was set up, and file transfer is going, after a few hours, it tends to lose connection with the router. Get an error when i try to retrieve the IP again. I log into router config and check and its not listed as a device connected.
Router is a Buffalo WHR-HP-54G with latest Tomato firmware. Very rarely have to restart router or modem normally, but almost had to do it daily since NAS was set up
Always have to turn off both router and modem.. Turn on modem then router.. Then retrieve IP, then it works again..
Any idea why its dropping like that?
